24 review: “Day 8: 10:00pm – 11:00pm”

The following is a TV review I wrote for Hollywood The Write Way.  I’ll be writing reviews for 24 and Chuck for this website from now on, but I’ll be posting links here, so just sit back and enjoy.

For those of you not familiar with 24, let me bring you up to speed.

At the beginning of this season, lead character Jack Bauer did something we’ve rarely seen him do: Smile. Prepared to move from NYC to LA to be with his daughter and granddaughter, suddenly Jack was presented with a terrorist emergency and had to spring into action. What made it different this time around? I’ll be honest, not much. But that doesn’t mean it’s not thrilling! For those who must know, this season: Jack isn’t working for anybody but himself, the Counter Terrorism Unit has been resurrected, and there’s a woman occupying the oval office, President Allison Taylor.

In this hour of Jack Bauer’s life, 10:00PM – 11:00PM, Jack is forced to go further undercover along with his partner Renée Walker to uncover the location of stolen weapons-grade uranium …
